Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi Gets A New Release Date, Will Not Clash With Inshallah

It was very much expected that Rohit Shetty and Akshay Kumar will change the release date of Sooryavanshi when Salman announced that Inshallah will release on Eid 2020.

As expected Rohit Shetty has changed the release of his upcoming film Sooryavanshi which stars Akshay Kumar as an ATS officer. The decision it seems that come after discussion with Salman Khan whose film Inshallah was slated for clash with Sooryavanshi.

Announcing the new release date on Twitter, Karan Johar the producer of the Sooryavanshi tweeted, “The ultimate Khiladi & the blockbuster director are arriving on 27th March, 2020 with #Sooryavanshi! Special love to @BeingSalmanKhan!”

Salman Khan too announced the release date of Sooryavanshi. He tweeted, “I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it… #RohitShetty Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020.”

It’s surprising to see that Akshay hasn’t yet shared the new release date of the film. This change in release date is a big loss for Akshay as Eid would be a perfect date for an action film like Sooryavanshi.

After Singham and Simmba, Sooryavanshi is the new addition to Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh in the lead roles.

Salman Khan’s Inshallah is a romantic drama film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan are collaborating after a long time. It will be Alia Bhatt’s first film with Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
