Bharat is Salman Khan’s 14th film to cross 100 crore mark. This clearly suggests that he is currently the undisputed box office king of Bollywood. It’s been a good box office journey for Bharat so far. However, the trending is not as Salman Khan’s previous blockbusters like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

It has been difficult to judge the word of mouth of the film. The real test will start today. However, it should easily beat Race and crosses 200 crore mark. Here’s a look at day-wise box office collection of Bharat:

  • First Day: 42.3 crores
  • Second Day: 31 crores
  • Third Day: 22.2 crores
  • Fourth Day: 26.7 crores
  • Fifth Day: 27.9 crores

Salman’s Bharat earned 42.3 crores on its first day. It is Salman’s biggest opening of Eid, beating Sultan (36.54 crores). It is the highest opening day grosser of 2019. Bharat becomes the highest opening day grosser for Salman beating PRDP (40.35 crores).

It is the third highest opening day grosser of Bollywood after Thugs of Hindostan (52.25 crores) and Happy New Year (44.97 crores).

Bharat is the third collaboration between Salman and Ali Abbas Zafar after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both films earned 300+ crores in India and the same is expected from Bharat.

Bharat also stars Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Kumud Mishra, Nora Fatehi and Jackie Shroff. It is an official adaptation of the Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’.
