Akshay Kumar is one of the fittest actors in the B-Town without the intake of steroids. Akki has always been a very sporty person. On Saturday, Akshay inaugurated the Great Indian Football in Delhi at the Thyagraj stadium. The event, organised by the Hindustan Times Group, was also attended by the participating teams of young football players.
Ashu Phakey, Business Head of Hindustan Times in Delhi, praised Akki’s support to the football tournament. “Above all, having Akshay to support our school of thought and highlight the importance of fitness through sports takes the enthusiasm a couple of notches higher” Phakey said.
Akki previously played a character in ‘Patiala House’, who loved to play cricket, said: “I want to do a film on kabaddi. It’s nice to see that the world is responding to this Indian game.”
Keeping sports and fitness in mind, the tournament’s aim is to bring sports and fitness lovers together on a platform and train them for the tournament.
The Khiladi was also in a very sporty manner. He played football with the fans, clicked selfies with them and even danced with his female fans.
