Piku Starcast and release date

After delivering two superb movies with Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe, ace director Shoojit Sircar is all set to start his next project Piku. The movie is a different take on the relationship of father and daughter. It will be Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of Deepika Padukone father. Irrfan Khan will also play an important role in the movie.

It will be interesting to see such a dynamic starcast working with such a talented director. This is the first time Deepika Padukone is teaming up with Irrfan Khan. Deepika Padukone will reprise the role of Amitabh Bachchan daughter for the second time in her career after Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan.

The first schedule of the movie is all set to begin this August. Piku is produced by MSM Motion Pictures in association with Saraswati Entertainment Creations Limited and Rising Sun Films.

The release date of the movie is fixed and it is set to release on 30 April 2015.

This certainly is a big starcast to me. No. 1 actress of Bollywood with legends Irrfan Khan and Amitabh Bachchan and that too under Shoojit Sircar’s direction. This seems something exceptional on the board. What your say guys.
