As per the reports coming, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s big budget film Padmavati has been postponed to 2018.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been working hard along with his lead actors Deepika Padukone, Ranvir Singh, and Shahid Kapoor for his upcoming movie Padmavati. The movie was said to be scheduled to release in November but now it seems that Padmavati has been postponed.

The movie’s schedule has been facing disruptions time and again. The first schedule itself faced a huge obstacle when Karni Sena attacked the sets in Jaipur. Later on, the set in Kolhapur was set on fire by angry protesters. The major reason behind this anger is the alleged portrayal of Queen Padmavati’s relation with Alauddin Khilji. Even though no one is sure about the angle between the two characters, somehow many people have presumed that Bhansali is going to show a love angle (possibly intimate) between the two. Hence the tension!

The latest obstruction in the movie’s schedule is the indefinite strike called on by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, which has led many to believe that the movie will not be able to finish off in time to release in the month of November. A renowned Film Industry Tracker Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to share these reports-

Considering the fact that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has always been known to take care of every single detail in each of his films, we will not be surprised if this indeed turns out to be true. After all, Bhansali has a reputation to maintain and it can definitely not be achieved by rushing things.

What do you think? Will you be able to wait patiently to see Deepika as a Queen for the first time on the big screen?
