The competition was tough and in this close fight, Aamir Khan emerged as a true winner. We think, he truly deserves this. Shahid Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee won the best actor critics for their movies Udta Punjab and Aligarh.
This is Aamir Khan’s third Filmfare after Raja Hindustani (1997) and Lagaan (2002). He refused to accept the award for Lagaan in 2002 and doesn’t attend any Indian award ceremony. He wasn’t even present yesterday when he declared the best actor for Dangal. It remains to be seen if he acknowledges this time around.
