Created by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble, You is a popular psychological thriller series based on Caroline Kepnes’ books. The show revolves around Joe Goldberg, a serial killer, and bookshop manager who falls in love and becomes completely fixated.

So far, three seasons of the series have been released, the first in September 2018, the second in December 2019, and the third in October 2021. Netflix announced two years ago that fans would be getting more of Joe Goldberg’s homicidal antics.

In October 2021, ahead of the third season premiere, the series was renewed for a fourth season. The next season of the hit Netflix show will premiere next month. The fourth season is split into two parts, with the first part set to premiere in Feb 2023, and the second part in March 2023.

Fans are waiting for the fourth season of you with high anticipation. With less than a month left for the premiere, here’s everything you need to know about You Season 4.

You Season 4 Part 1 Release Date

Netflix has officially announced the new season’s premiere date. Season four has been confirmed to be split into two parts. The first part is scheduled to premiere on February 9, 2023.

After that, fans will have to wait a whole month before part two is released on March 9, 2023.

How many episodes are there in You Season 4?

Like the previous three seasons, the fourth season is going to have 10 episodes. However, it is not confirmed yet how these 10 episodes are split into two parts.

You Season 4 Plot

We can confirm that Joe is now in London under a new name. He is now Professor Jonathan Moore and is attempting to fit into the world of academia, but knowing Joe; it will be hard.

To put it mildly, You season 3 finale was quite dramatic. Joe murdered his wife, Love, abandoned their baby with another family, faked his own death, cooked his own toe into a pie to pin the aforementioned death on Love, and then set fire to his house in the California suburbs, which is a bit much, even by Joe’s standards.

When we last saw Joe, he was going by “Nick,” and he had just arrived in Paris to look for Marienne. Most of You season 4 will take place in London, with a small portion of the season momentarily taking place in Paris.

You Season 4 Cast & Crew

Series lead star Penn Badgley returns as Joe Goldberg and Tati Gabrielle reprises her role as Marienne Bellamy, with Lukas Gage, Charlotte Ritchie, Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman and Ed Speleers joining the main cast. Unfortunately, Victoria Pedretti will not return as Love.

The new additions to the cast include Amy Leigh Hickman, Tilly Keeper, Ed Speleers, Sean Pertwee, Stephen Hagan, Adam James, Ben Wiggins, Allison Pargeter, Eve Austin, Dario Coates and Ozioma Whenu.

Head writers Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble penned the fourth season. Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo are returning as executive producers on the show.

Is there any trailer?

Netflix unveiled the first teaser for You Season 4 during its TUDUM showcase event on September 24, 2022.  Joe reveals in the teaser that he is no longer the lovable bookshop manager in New York or the adoring husband in the suburbs. He’s been refined and is now known as Professor Johnathan Moore.

The trailer was revealed recently. The trailer sees Penn Badgley’s Joe find Marienne (Tati Gabrielle), who seemingly has no interest in reconciling with him. “You’re a murderer, Joe,” she tells him. “You’re wrong about me. I’m gonna prove it to you,” he replies.

We see Joe sinking into his new life in London, and trying to keep himself away from his worst addiction by surrounding himself with egocentric socialites. It doesn’t work. Soon Joe realises that he isn’t the only murderer around.
