Vikings Valhalla Season 2 Release Date

Vikings Valhalla, a.k.a. the Netflix series that we warmly refer to as “the hot Vikings show received over 80 million hours of viewing in its first two days on the platform. Due to the show’s tremendous success, a second and third seasons were officially ordered in March 2022.

The much anticipated Vikings Valhalla Season 2 will premiere on January 12, 2023. The series fans are excited for the upcoming season as they have waited long enough for its premiere. Their anticipation grows by the day as the release date approaches.

Vikings Valhalla Season 2 Plot

The second season will take up where the first left off. The first season had a heart-pounding cliffhanger that depicts a blood-covered Leif screaming in agony after losing his love interest Liv in his arms.

The grandson of Forkbeard, Harald Harefoot, discovers several of Kre’s friends dead and a furious Leif covered in blood.

Therefore, season 2 starts immediately after the disastrous fall of Kattegat, with Leif, Freyd, and Harald’s dreams and futures being broken. Also, when they find themselves unexpectedly on the run across Scandinavia, they are forced to put their hopes and bravery to the test in environments outside their cosy fjords.

According to Netflix, “The whole concept of Season 2 is that we take these three heroes who are in Scandinavia and blow them out of their comfort zones,” says show creator Jeb Stuart. “Season 2 for Harald and Leif is a road trip: It’s Thelma and Louise on the Dnieper River. The two of them will begin this incredible journey. Freydís has to go to Pomerania, which is a very difficult environment.”
