The fourth episode, titled ‘Horses in Heaven,’ sees Sarah Atwood plotting against the Duttons, taking advantage of Jamie’s immaturity. As a governor, John is facing his share of challenges like the situation surrounding the mission wolves.
Jamie forced Hailey to take back the charges by threatening her with the prosecution. Hailey takes back the charges against Beth. Beth is released from jail and asks Jamie to drive her home. She got furious after discovering that Jamie has a son. She threatens to take the baby away from Jamie and belittles his ability as a father.
John uses his authority as the Governor to release Summer Higgins from prison. He hires Summer as his Environmental consultant. Meanwhile, Jamie meets Sarah Atwood for dinner, and the two hook up while Beth spies on the latter.

Things between Sarah and Jamie quickly turn romantic, which clearly implies that something fishy is going on. Everyone knows that Jamie is the weak link in the Dutton family and Sarah is taking this advantage. Jamie appears crucial to her plans, and his political ambitions could lead him to join hands with Market Equities.
