The Killer: Netflix Release date, Cast and Everything You Need To Know!

The American neo-noir psychological crime thriller is now coming to Netflix after a limited theatrical release. Here’s everything you need to know!

The Killer is a neo-noir psychological crime thriller film directed by David Fincher. The film, which is enthralled with the assassin movie mythos and the sleek sarcasm of Fincher’s own back catalogue, stars Michael Fassbender as a nameless, clinically efficient hired killer whose carefully planned professional life falls after one mistake.

The Killer appears to be one of the many unique and successful concepts that the Oscar-winning filmmaker has come up with. Fans of the psychological genre are extremely eager to see everything unfold on the small screens.

Thus, following a Venice Picture Festival premiere and a limited theatrical release, the highly anticipated film featuring action, fighting, and tonnes of tension will now be available for streaming.

So, when is it going to premiere? What will it be about? Well, in order to know, keep on reading.

When will The Killer premiere?

The Killer is one of the most anticipated original films in Netflix’s 2023 lineup. Since the film had the potential to be a box office win and a big awards contender, it had a limited theatrical run on October 27, 2023.

But as previously announced, it will also be accessible to stream exclusively on Netflix. The Killer will be released on Netflix worldwide on November 10, 2023. It has a run time of 1 hour and 53 minutes.

What is The Killer about?

The Killer shows that being a skilled hitman means having to “forbid empathy,” even though he can’t completely exercise this due to his love life. It is based on the acclaimed French graphic novel series of the same name, which was created by Luc Jacamon and written by Alexis “Matz” Nolent.

The story revolves around the titular assassin, who gets involved in an international manhunt when a hit goes wrong. At such a late stage in his career, the killer will make mistakes and rethink his choices. Switching between new IDs, cars, and tourist clothes, the Killer kills the bad guys quickly and gradually climbs the hierarchical chain as part of revenge.

The official Netflix synopsis reads, “After a fateful near-miss an assassin battles his employers, and himself, on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal.”
