Dil Bechara is Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film. The talented actor committed suicide in his flat on 14 June 2020.
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ will release directly on OTT. The film will stream on Disney+ Hotstar from July 24. Also starring Saif Alia Khan, the film mars the directional debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra.
Announcing the digital release of the film, Sanjana Sanghi, who makes her Bollywood debut with Dil Bechara, wrote, “A story of love, of hope, and of endless memories. Celebrating our dearest, and the late #SushantSinghRajput ‘s legacy that will be etched in the minds of all and cherished forever.”
“#DilBechara is going to be coming to everyone on @DisneyPlusHotstar on July 24. For the love of Sushant and his love for cinema, the movie will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers.” the actress wrote.

Dil Bechara is based on John Green’s 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars. Earlier titled Kizie Aur Manny, film’s release has been postponed multiple times, due to post-production delays. It was finally set for 8 May 2020 release but then again it got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Now, the film is finally releasing on OTT but the lead actor is now with us.
