Sanjay Dutt will finally be released from the chains of incarceration on 27th February 2016

As reported, Sanjay Dutt will be freed before his actual scheduled date from Yerwada Jail, PuneRanjit Patil, the Minister for State(Home) signed the file for Sanjay’s release, without penalising him for reporting late from his furlough in January 2015. Sanjay has been given such privilege on the grounds of good behaviour as a prison.

Sanjay Dutt was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment due to arms case pertaining to Mumbai’s 1993 serial blasts. Sanjay was freed off the charges for allegation regarding conspiracy in the blast but he was found guilty for illegal possession of AK-56 and a pistol hence was penalised for 5 years of his life in prison.

Sanjay Dutt was arrested under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act in April 1993, due to illegal possession of an AK-56 rifle and a pistol. After spending initially 18 months in jail, he got his first bail. Later, in 2007, he was sentenced to 5 years rigorous imprisonment. Sanjay during his 5 years has been out on parole various time. Sanjay’s frequent breaks from jail have been criticised in the past due to VIP treatment. As reported, between May 2013 and 2014, Sanjay Dutt spent over 118 days out of prison.

Sanjay Dutt was also out for the shoot of few movies and this was highly condemned. Well, love it or hate it the news is confirmed that the “Khalnayak” will walk out of the shackles of prison on 27th February.

Sanjay’s upcoming flicks scheduled for 2017 are “Sons of Sardar” the sequel to “Son of Sardar” directed by S.S. Rajamouli and “Koochie Koochie Hota Hai” which is a computer animated Bollywood movie in which Sanjay Dutt will perform the voice over for the character.
