Bollywood January 2016 Releases: A bunch of big movies from Airlift to Mastizaade to Ghayal Returns are all set to release in Jan 2016.

The new year has started with a great jolt with a mix bag releases lined up and we bring to you the 5 big releases for January out of the bag.

Wazir: Bejoy Nambiar’s directed “Wazir” is our top of the list for big releases for January as the story seems quite promising with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and the multi-talented Farhan Akhtar at the front. The story is weaved around a paralyzed grandmaster (Amitabh Bachchan) and an ATS officer (Farhan Akhtar) who come together due to the fate of time which further revealed some dark hidden conspiracy. Wazir is a thriller finally ready to hit the screens on 8th January 2016 after so many recent censor boards conflicts.

Airlift: The film is based on the biggest evacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait. The film is directed by Raja Krishna Menon and Akshay Kumar leads the screen. The story is quite strong and the action packed drama with Akshay himself would certainly appease the audience. Akshay has done quite a number of films of such a genre, “Baby” is one example which really turned out to be a blockbuster. The flick is scheduled to be released on 22nd January 2016. The trailers and the posters published earlier were worth a watch. It also has some beautiful heart touching songs as well.

Ghayal Once Again: It’s a sequel to Sunny Deol’s 1990 super hit action-packed drama “Ghayal”. The film is directed by Sunny Paji(brother) himself and is due to be released on 15th January 2016. There is not much cue on the story side but it certainly is going to be what we call action packed. Apart form Sunny, we would be seeing Om Puri and Soha Ali Khan. This film is quite close to Sunny family as they have been planning long for the sequence. The movie was earlier scheduled to be released in 2015 but due to work on quality VFX(visual effects), the film got delayed. Ghayal Once Again’s action sequences are designed by Hollywood action co-ordinator Dan Bradley. Dan has worked for some of the biggest Hollywood films like Superman Returns, Spiderman 2, Spiderman 3 and many more. So no wonders the action sequence would be worth it.

Kya Kool Hain Hum 3: This is the third part of “Kya Kool Hain Hum” film series and a sequel of 2012 “Kya Super Cool Hain Hum“. The film has lesser of a story but a lot of sex comedy. Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani and Mandana Karimi will be the leads to this hilarious comedy sequel. The parent film did quite well in its time but the due to over iterating the adult comic part the first sequel lost its chance to prove itself. The 3rd part is ready to be released on 22nd January 2016, so let’s see if this installment can suffice what the viewers look forward in a sex comedy or will it cross the line of vulgarism.

Mastizaade: Mastizaade is yet another adult comedy featuring the once a porn star turned Bollywood actor Sunny Leone. Mastizaade has already flocked the internet with hot and sexy teasers & posters. It’s Milap Zaveri directed film starring Tushar Kapoor and Vir Das. Sunny would be seen in a double role to heat up the screen. One Sunny Leone is in itself highly irresistible so let’s see what the double will do for the fans this winter. The movie is to be released on 29th January 2016.
