5Swades
Ashutosh Gowariker approached Hrithik for the lead role in Swades. Hrithik was not too happy with the script and Ashutosh made changes a number of times. Every time he approached Hrithik with the fresh script, he would still reject it. That was when Gowariker decided to approach Shah Rukh Khan and he accepted it. We all know how many awards Shah Rukh Khan won thanks to this movie.
