One of the most-awaited movies of 2021, Kriti Sanon’s Mimi has become the latest victim of online piracy. What’s shocking is that the full got leaked online four days before its scheduled digital release. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Mimi which revolves around surrogacy is supposed to release on Netflix on Jul 30, 2021. However, in a shocking turn of events, piracy websites leaked the Mimi full movie for free download on Monday.
Following an illegal leak, the makers have decided to release the film officially on Netflix and Jio Cinema at 6:30 pm on Monday, July 26, 2021. After the leak came to light, the producers took restorative steps to remove the film from the sites indulged in piracy. However, it was too late as the download links become available on Telegram and started circulating on messaging apps.
As per reports, the pirated version of Mimi was first leaked by the infamous piracy website Tamilrockers. Other torrent websites follow and in few hours the full movie got leaked on several sites like Movierulz, Filmyzilla, and Filmywap. Not only piracy sites but several Telegram channels have also leaked the HD print of the movie.
