At the Annual Communications Conference, Disney’s CEO, Bob Chapek, said, Loki was the “most-watched season premiere ever on Disney+ during its opening week.”

Loki episode 2 release date

Loki Episode 2 will drop on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, on Disney Plus. Initially, Disney Plus wanted to release weekly episodes of Loki on Fridays like WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. 

However, it already releases new episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch on the same day. So, Loki shifted to Wednesday to get more time.

Like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the first of Loki comprised only six episodes. A new episode will be released every Wednesday. Unless there is no change in schedule, the Loki season 1 finale episode will release on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.

When is the Loki episode 2 release time?

Considering the first episode release timing, we can assume that the next episode would also release at 12:01 am PT, 3:01 am ET, and 8:01 am GMT on Wednesday, June 16. New content is released worldwide at the same time. Here is when the Loki episode 2 would arrive in different time zones:

According to Discussing Film’s Diego Andaluz, Loki episode 2 runtime is around 54 minutes. All six episodes of Loki are expected to have a runtime of 50 to 60 minutes.

The Loki we are seeing in the series is from a different timeline. To be more precise, it is an alternate version of Loki, a Loki from the time of ‘The Avengers’, 2012. After taking the Tesseract in 2012, Loki lands himself in the desert with the Time Variance Authority intends to use his unique outlook to help solve a serious timeline-bending crime.
