The wait is over, Amazon Prime Video’s popular adult animated series, Invincible, returns on the streamer for the second season. Invincible Season 2 was expected to premiere on Friday (Nov 3) at 12 a.m. ET / 9 p.m. PT (Nov 2) but it arrived slightly ahead of schedule.
Invincible is an adult animated superhero series created by Robert Kirkman. It premiered on Amazon Prime Video on March 25, 2021. Based on the comic book series of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the show follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson and his transformation into a superhero under the guidance of his father Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on the planet.
The second season finds Mark “reeling from Nolan’s betrayal” and struggling to rebuild his life “as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it,” according to Amazon Studios.
How many episodes are there in Invincible Season 2?
Like the first season, the second season is also going to have eight episodes. However, this time around these eight episodes will be released in two parts.
The first four episodes of the second season are expected to premiere in November 2023 with the first episode being released on November 2, 2023, with the last four set to debut in early 2024.
Invincible Season 2 Release Schedule
New episodes of Invincible will be released weekly on Fridays. Invincible Season 2 was expected to drop its first episodes on Friday (Nov 3) at 12 a.m. ET / 9 p.m. PT (Nov 2) but it arrived slightly ahead of schedule. However, from the next week, we expect the new episodes to drop as per schedule. Here’s a release schedule for the second season:
