Hightown Season 3: The American criminal drama series is coming back with another season. Here’s everything you need to know!

Hightown is an American criminal drama series with a unique twist. The series is created and produced by Rebecca Cutter, Gary Lennon, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Johnathan Littman.

The first season was an instant success for Starz TV, breaking audience records across many digital platforms. While delivering an interesting tale about the war on drugs, the show effectively conveyed the challenges associated with drug usage and addiction.

The drama series, which premiered on Starz in 2020, received recognition for its excellent writing and great performances by the cast. After an enthralling second season that premiered in October 2021, fans are now eagerly awaiting Hightown Season 3.

But when is it going to premiere? What will it be about? Who is in the cast? Here’s everything you need to know!

When will Hightown Season 3 premiere?

It is true that a third season is coming. Starz announced the third season of Hightown in March 2022.

During the announcement, Starz President Kathryn Busby stated: “Hightown is such an incredible show, and we could not be happier that it’s been renewed for a third season. We are excited to return to Cape Cod to see our iconic characters battle their past mistakes as well as new foes in the dangerous underworld that lies beneath this idyllic setting.”

Starz’s Hightown Season 3 is slated to premiere on January 26, 2024. As stated by Starz upon the third installment’s confirmation, it is the series’ ultimate conclusion. New episodes will be available to stream weekly at midnight on Fridays, with seven episodes running from January 26 to March 8, 2024. Each episode will last 54 to 59 minutes.

What will Hightown Season 3 be about?

The next season will most likely continue the plotlines left unfinished in the previous season, even though there has been no official confirmation. For instance, Season 3 will explore if Jackie can overcome her addiction once again or if she will continue to spiral downward following her relapse in Season 2.

Additionally, it will show whether Frankie lived after being stabbed in prison on Osito’s orders. Furthermore, it is still unclear if Renee will be punished for killing Jorge. The previously mentioned additional characters will also be explored in the third season.

Fans will witness Boston thug Shane Frawley and his nephew Owen attempting to take over Osito’s power on Cape Cod this season. On the other hand, Jackie will look into Veronica’s disappearance and most likely work alongside Sarah, the new police officer.

Season 3 of Hightown will delve into the story of a fresh drug kingpin with ambitions to dominate Cape Cod, alongside an investigation surrounding the disappearance of a young woman.

Starz president Busby told Deadline: “We are excited to return to Cape Cod to see our iconic characters battle their past mistakes as well as new foes in the dangerous underworld that lies beneath this idyllic setting.”
