The first season of dark action anime Goblin Slayer was a smash hit across the world. Since the conclusion of the first season in Dec 2018, fans have been waiting restlessly for new episodes. Considering the popularity of the anime, it was almost confirmed that the anime will return for the second season. Finally, there is a big update on Goblin Slayer season 2.
Fans will be delighted to know that Goblin Slayer season 2 is indeed coming back with season two. During the GA Bunko 15th anniversary celebrations on Jan 31, it was revealed that the second season of Goblin Slayer is in production. Along with an announcement, a new video teaser and poster has been released.
Goblin Slayer Season 2 release date
The official release date for Goblin Slayer Season 2 hasn’t been announced yet. However, as the show is confirmed to be in production, we believe that it would return in 2021 only. A hopeful prediction would be October 2021, the same month that season 1 aired in 2018.

Goblin Slayer is a Japanese dark fantasy anime series based on a novel series of the same name. Written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki, it began serialization online in February 2016 by the Japanese publishing company, SB Creative.
The first season comprised of 12 episodes aired in Japan from October 7, 2018, to December 30, 2018. An anime film, titled Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown, premiered in February 2020.
