Fitoor Music Review and Soundtrack - A Master Stroke by Amit Trivedi!
Fitoor

Fitoor Music Review: Fitoor is one of the best albums from the house of Amit Trivedi. Every song has a soul which will touch your heart.

Abhishek Kapoor‘s Fitoor has already impressed us with its trailer and two beautiful songs. The movie features Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The music of Fitoor has been composed by Amit Trivedi and there are seven tracks in the album. Here’s our Fitoor music review –

1. Yeh Fitoor Mera

The title track of album Yeh Fitoor Mera has taken the country by storm by becoming one of the most loved songs. With heart-wrenching lyrics by Swanand Kirkire and the love stirred voice of Arijit Singh, this song is very passionate packed with an amazing picturization. This song is going to stick around for very long.

2. Pashmina

The second song Pashima takes us to a whole new level of romance. Sung and composed melodiously by Amit Trivedi with refreshing lyrics by Swanand Kirkire. The song is packed with the sensual dance between Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor, it is one of the most romantic songs of Bollywood in recent times.

3. Haminastu
Haminastu will take you to the beautiful land of Kashmir whenever you tune into it, no matter in which part of the world you are. The best part of the song is Zeb Bangash‘s unique voice. I bet you haven’t heard anything like this before.

4. Hone Do Batiyaan
Nandini Srikar and Zeb Bangash have lent their voices to the song Hone Do Batiyaan. This choice of singers has worked really well for the song, their voices totally compliment each other. Well done Amit Trivedi.

5. Tere Liye

Another romantic number is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Jubin Nautiyal singing about how far a person can go for their loved one. All this song depicts is that “Sab Kuch Tere Liye” with the lyrics by Swanand Kirkire. A song for all the ‘Aashiqs’ out there.

6. Ranga Re- Hindi
There are two versions of Ranga Re, one in Hindi and the other in English. The Hindi version is in the voices of Sunidhi Chauhan and Amit Trivedi. The music is quite different from the other songs and that’s what I loved the most about the song. This change of pace is actually quite nice.

7. Ranga Re- English
The English version of Ranga Re is sung by Caralisa Monteiro and Amit Trivedi. Though it is nice to hear, I can’t help but feel that this song could have been skipped. Except translating the Hindi version’s lyrics to English, it does nothing new.
