Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 Release Date
FOX renewed the crime drama for a second season in March 2023, and many believed that the show would release new episodes in May or June 2023, however, this was not the case. Due to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, which has affected the production status of multiple scripted shows, production and work of the show was halted for a long time.
However, it has now been confirmed by Fox TV that Tuesday nights in 2024 will see the TV premiere of Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2. The second season of the show will premiere on Fox at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PST on March 5, 2024. Season 2 is expected to consist of ten episodes, just like the previous season. There are few details available about the second season’s plot. John Eisendrath, the showrunner, referred to a serialized element while highlighting family dynamics and relationships. In addition to addressing some missing persons cases, he envisions each season containing a unique, enigmatic serialized story. Eisendrath expressed excitement about going deeper into Kemi’s past and her relationship with her father, as well as character relationships like the love triangle involving Jason, Nikki, and Mike.
