If reports are to be believed then the makers of Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal are thinking to shift the release date of the film.

Akshay Kumar’s next Mission Mangal was set to release on Independence day 2019 along with John Abraham’s Batla House and Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhas’ starrer Saaho. However, it seems that the makers of the movie are rethinking of this decision.

If reports are to be believed then the movies’ release date might be shifted. Reports suggest that the makers are not more than willing to avoid this three-way clash. Makers are now eyeing to release the movie on August 9 rather than August 15 as scheduled before.

Well, it looks a very good decision as Saaho and Batla House are bigger films than Mission Mangal. Moreover, a three-way clash is a dangerous zone for any film especially when it fails to make much buzz.

Mission Mangal stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Sharman Joshi and a few other actors. Reportedly, Akshay Kumar has an extended cameo in the film.

The film is based on the story of the ISRO’s Mars Orbiter Mission which made Mars more accessible to explore. Directed by Jagan Shakti, the film is produced by R. Balki and Akshay Kumar.

Apart from Mission Mangal, Akshay has two more releases this year. Housefull 4 will hit the big screens on Diwali while Good News is scheduled for December release. You can have a look at the list of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movies.
