Part 2 of Sushmita Sen’s Disney+ Hotstar crime drama series Aarya Season 3 will premiere on February 9, the streaming platform announced on Monday. The announcement accompanies a teaser that shows a wounded Aarya gearing up for the ‘antim vaar’ (last attack).
The teaser starts off with Aarya (Sushmita) getting a gunshot. The teaser then shows glimpses of Sushmita in her intense and fierce character.
A voiceover by the actress talks about how before taking her last breath she will bare her claws one last time. “Aakhri saans lene se pehle, ek aakhri baar uske panje zaroor niklenge,”, says Sushmita as she gears up for the ‘antim vaar’.
The teaser also reveals that Season 3 Part 2 is the beginning of the series’ end. However, it is not yet confirmed if it will have a successive season.
The first four episodes of Season 3 premiered on November 3, releasing simultaneously on Disney+ Hotstar. The entire set of episodes for the second part is anticipated to be available on the streaming platform next month on Feb 9, 2023.
Sushmita Sen made an impressive comeback and digital debut in 2020 with Aarya. The first season of the crime drama series dropped on Disney+ Hotstar on June 19, 2020. Co-created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, the series for a second season in July 2021, and premiered on December 10, 2021. Based on the Dutch drama series Penoza, Aarya was renewed for a third season in July 2022.
