In an interview for the promotions of Kapoor & Sons, Sidharth opens up about his upcoming movies Bang Bang 2 and Baar Baar Dekho.
Sidharth Malhotra is all geared up for his next release Kapoor & Sons which also stars Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt. In an interview for the promotion of Kapoor & Sons, the actor opens about his future projects.

When asked about his next Baar Baar Dekho with Katrina Kaif, the actor said that it is not a science fiction film but a true love story.
“Baar Baar Dekho is not science fiction; it is a pure love story. It is a fictitious story of a guy, who gets a chance to see his journey of life. India has never seen a story like Baar Baar Dekho. The film has Excel Sensibilities”, said Sidharth.
The actor also revealed that Baar Baar Dekho is a very difficult film for him and hopes that he has done justice to the character.
Sidharth has also been roped in for the sequel of Bang Bang. The original one started Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. When asked about the movie, Sidharth revealed that the movie is actually not a sequel. I am not replacing Hrithik Roshan in Bang Bang 2. My next is an action film with Fox Sttar Studios and story has nothing to do with Bang Bang, says Sidharth.
Sidharth further clarified, “It is not entirely a sequel and we have still not titled the film. It is an action film, so let’s see if they plan to make it a part of Bang Bang franchise. But I promise you that the story has nothing to do with Bang Bang.
When Sidharth was asked about the failure of his last release, Brothers, the actor clarified, “The term ‘Flop’ is merely a perception. I think Brothers wasn’t a flop as such as producers did not lose the money. Yes, we did not double the investment, but it was not a flop. As an actor, I feel that Karan Malhotra is a great director and no can display heroism like him. He is the Subhash Ghai of modern era.”
