The Lunchbox Theatrical Trailer featuring Irffan Khan, Nimrat Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui
The Lunchbox is the directorial debut of Ritesh Batra who his known for making short films like The Morning Ritual, Gareeb Nawaz ki Taxi and Cafe Regular. It is jointly produced by Gurmeet Singh, Anurag Kashyap, Sikhya Entertainment, DAR motion pictures, NFDC, India, ROH Films, Germany, ASAP Films, France and the Cine Mosaic, US.
The starcast is quite impressive. Irffan is the main lead, who is also the executive producer of the movie, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is also playing an important role and finally we have Nimrat Kaur, the female lead (lastly seen in Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana). She is also a theater artist.
The Lunchbox is the story of two people, Sudeep(Irfan) and Ila(Nimrat Kaur), who never met each other but fell in love by communicating through a unique medium , a lunchbox. The Lunchbox is slated for release on 20 September 2013.
