We all thought that Raees will be an action packed film with lots of dark and intense action scenes. But SRK confirmed that the movie is more dramatic than of action genre. SRK has confirmed that the movie has only four action sequences.
The fans are eagerly waiting for Raees as SRK will be seen in never-seen before avatar. During the promotion of his next release Fan, when SRK opened about Raees. The actor asked his fans and media not to expect a lot of action scenes in Raees, rather to come to the theater with the mind set to watch an intense drama. The exact words said by SRK were, “Raees has four action scenes. Not all are major, they are including the bits and pieces too. Raees is a very intense film. It is not an action film.”

The movie is going to release on EID along with Salman Khan’s Sultan. We all are waiting to find out which Khan will win the box office was on this Eid. As both of the actors has a huge fan following, it can be a win-win for both the movies.
Raees is directed by Rahul Dholakia and co-produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment.
When asked about his role in Raees, SRK said, ” I am playing a criminal, a don with a golden heart.”. The actor further added, “I wanted to do an intense criminal role for a long time. I loved the idea very much and said yes in 20 minutes. I think it will be an interesting film. We have been able to make it in the real zone, and still give it a twist for the masses by having songs and action.”
He also said that Raees is very different from Don. Don was classier and niche, in Raees he is more simple and realistic.
