Kaabil Music Review: An Average Vintage Album By Rajesh Roshan and Jubin Nautiyal

Kaabil Music Review: An Average Vintage Album By Rajesh R

Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik Roshan and Rajesh Roshan have been a winning trio right from ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ to ‘Krissh 3’. While dad Rakesh Roshan directs and produces the film, ‘Greek God’ son Hrithik Roshan acts in it and uncle Rajesh Roshan composes the music for the film. The trio is back after three years with Kaabil. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam’s Kaabil is slated to release on January 25. The jukebox is out and here’s our Kaabil music review.

1.) Main Tere Kaabil Hoon

The song is perfect to express your feelings to that special someone in your life. With Jubin Nautiyal and Palak Muchhal’s beautiful voice, awesome guitar riffs and lovely lyrics, the song will take you make you lose yourself for some time. However, it isn’t good enough to keep you humming for an entire day. Overall, every time you listen to it, you feel it growing on you though might not leave a lasting impression.

2.) Haseeno Ka Deewana

Put your party shoes on because you will definitely feel like dancing all night with this track. Recreation of a classic number by Raftaar and Payal Dev, the track is filled with all the energetic beats and bass, making sure you won’t stop tapping your feet.

3.) Kuch Din

Jubin Nautiyal again, this song is the emotional one of the recent times. Might make you close to tears and give you a soothing relief, but not likely to be embedded in your head. The song could have been better with different music arrangement.

4.) Mon Amour

Translates to ‘my love’ in French, this song will remind you of the much recent French song “Je Taime” from ‘Befikre’. Sung by Vishal Dadlani, the song is a feel good one. It has a striking resemblance to Enrique Iglesias’ “Bailamos”.The song lacks originality but still have a flavour.

5.) Kisi Se Pyaar Hojaye

Another classic song recreated, the song will refresh your mind and make you wanna fall in love again. Jubin’s voice does complete justice to the original “Dil Kya Kare Jab Kisi ko Kisise Pyaar Hojaye”.

6.) Main Tere Kaabil Hoon (Sad Version)

We found this song much better than the original track. Jubin’s intense and deep voice suits the avenging tone of the track.

Kaabil Music Review: Our Verdict

The music album of ‘Kaabil’ is average with two classic numbers recreated. The music album could have been better but it isn’t bad either. This is one of those albums which will work time being but will be forgotten soon. Overall, an average vintage album. We are going for 3 stars out of 5.
