Four Female Debutants in 2015-2016 – Who’s Hot, Who’s Not?

Last year we saw some very unsuccessful debuts like Erica Fernandes, Isabel Kaif, Daisy Shah and Hasleen Kaur. Again Bollywood is about to witness the entry of four new girls and they are all geared up to make it big. But will they really be successful in impressing us?

1. Athiya Shetty

Probably the biggest and most awaited debut of 2015, Suneil Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty is entering B-town along-with Sooraj Pancholi (another debutant) in the Salman Khan production ‘Hero’. While we were impressed by the trailer, the question is still unanswered. Guess we will get the answer on 11 September.

2. Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde is definitely one lucky girl to get the sole female lead opposite Hrithik Roshan in the much talked about ‘Mohenjo Daro’. That too under the direction of Ashutosh Gowariker. Will she be able to create magic or is it too much pressure?

3. Saiyami Kher

Saiyami Kher is going to make her debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra‘s ‘Mirziya’, along-with Harshvardhan Kapoor. She’s new to Bollywood but she has acted in a Telugu movie, ‘Rey’ earlier. She must be talented to impress Mehra, right?

4. Mahira Khan

Mahira Khan is a Pakistani actress and a former VJ. She’s proven herself in the small screen as well as the big screen of Pakistan and now she’s aiming for Bollywood in ‘Raees’ with none other than Shahrukh Khan! Enough said?

Will it be the star kid Athiya who impresses us or the Pakistani actress Mahira? Or the second runner-up at Miss Universe India 2010 Pooja? Will the Kingfisher Calender model Saiyami prove to be a surprise package?
