The film keeps you guessing, to the point that you don’t really care.

Baar Baar Dekho is about getting a chance of changing the mistakes in life without making them. But really, I can’t think of one thing I’d like to see changed in this film. Except maybe Sarika’s prosthetics when she plays dead. Someone overdid the mother’s wrinkles.

Baar Baar Dekho Review by Rediff: Nothing in this movie adds up, but the gist is that Jai — annoyingly tentative and indecisive about marriage, in-laws and the woman in his life — keeps getting jolted ahead into the future where things change and he remains the same stupid self, struggling to catch up. Poor show, Ms Mehra. If you could go back in time to set this film right, make something else instead.

Baar Baar Dekho Review by Anna MM Vetticad from First Post: The constant back and forth is fun pre-interval, but in the second half it becomes tiresome. And with the writing just skimming over Diya’s character, Jai’s fight to keep her in his life ultimately becomes his fight, not ours. Still, the film is not without merit. Kaif and Malhotra both look stunning. The real star of Baar Baar Dekho is its top-notch production quality.
