You must have seen the trailer of Shivaay, which was wonderful as well as confusing. Now, Ajay Devgn opens up about Shivaay and his next film with Kajol.
The trailer of Shivaay has received a very good response. It even went on to make the record of the most viewed trailer in 24 hours, which was recently broken by M.S. Dhoni- The Untold Story Trailer. Though the trailer did not give away much about the story. Director and producer Ajay Devgn opens up about Shivaay. He says-
“Yes, it’s a deliberate strategy to keep the suspense and intrigue intact. The villain is something we want to keep a secret till the very last minute — till the Friday the film releases. I know it’s unusual, but we don’t want to reveal the villain’s identity of the film. Every trailer released will keep the people guessing as there are lots of twists and turns in the film.
He further added- “The writer and I had a story that was inspired by a real incident. We worked on it together, but since it was my idea, only I could’ve directed it. It’s an emotional story and the highlight is the screenplay. It’s very close to my heart, primarily because of the hard work we’ve put into it.”
When asked why Kajol is not a part of Shivaay, he said-
“Kajol wasn’t considered for Shivaay because there isn’t any character where she could fit in. My production house is currently working on a film with her and me in the lead and we will start on that project by the end of this year.”
After Shivaay, Ajay will start shooting for Baadshaho and Golmaal Again. When asked about them, he said “I haven’t started preparing for them. I’m so excited that the Golmaal gang is back and it will be fun to work with them. No female face has been roped in as of now.”
Our anticipation for Shivaay has grown even more and we also can’t wait to see Ajay Devgn and Kajol on screen together once again!
