Young Royals is a well-known Swedish teen drama series that debuted on Netflix on July 1, 2021. Set in Hillerska, a fictional exclusive boarding school, the story revolves around the fictional Prince Wilhelm of Sweden, his growing gay romance with a fellow student, Simon Eriksson, and the ensuing drama.

Young Royals Season 2 Plot

Young Royals features a boarding school and way too much youthful extravagance, as with any decent coming-of-age story. The story follows Prince Wilhelm as he adjusts to life at the famous boarding school Hillerska. At school, he gets an opportunity to explore his true self and find out what kind of life he really wants for himself. But, the drama occurs when he indulges in a gay romance with another student named Simon Eriksson. Season 1 was full of twists and turns that infantile love may conjure. Season 1 ends on a surprising note as Wilhelm gets caught up in a massive se*x tape scandal.

Therefore, season 2 will likely increase the drama after a dramatic ending. As they meet for another semester, viewers may anticipate much more conflict between the young lovers Prince Wilhelm and Simon Eriksson.
