What will be the plot of The Victims Game Season 2?

The mystery thriller follows a detective with Asperger’s syndrome, who tries to solve the mystery behind a series of deaths where the victims’ bodies are burned or melted beyond recognition.

Thinking that his daughter might be connected to the cases in some manner, he makes every effort to gather clues and thoroughly examine all the available evidence. Hsu Hai-Yin, an investigative journalist, reported on the case and developed a strong desire to assist Fang Yi-Jen in unravelling the mystery.

What initially appeared as the finding of a dissolved deceased body in a bathtub containing an acid solution revealed itself as a component of a prearranged “suicide chain” orchestrated by a woman named Li Ya-Chun.

Although plot details for the second season have yet to be revealed, it appears that the three will once again be in jeopardy. But this time, Fang Yi-Jen and his daughter have already made up, which might have a big influence on how they deal with problems down the road. With his hard detective work behind him, Yi-Jen may now have more time to spend with his daughter. The former forensic specialist might perhaps work with Hsu Hai-Yin again in the future.

Producers Hank Tseng and Phil Tang of Greener Grass Production promised that season 2 will be “even more thrilling and captivating than the first.”

“From script to screen we are proud to have created The Victims’ Game as an entirely original IP from Taiwan,” said Tseng and Tang in a statement following the renewal.

Producers are extremely happy about the renewal and consider it a milestone for the Taiwanese entertainment industry.

“This renewal with Netflix is a milestone for the local entertainment industry to set foot on the global stage. It is time to unleash the limitless potential of original stories from Taiwan. We are excited to confirm that directors David Chuang and Allen Chen, as well as the production team will reunite on set. We are incredibly excited to bring Season 2 to viewers around the world, which will be even more thrilling and captivating than the first.”
