The much-anticipated Reacher Season 2 is almost here. With a few days left for its premiere, Amazon Studios has shared a press release confirming the release schedule for the second season. Reacher debuted on Prime Video on February 4, 2022, with all eight episodes of season one premiering on the same day.
Upon its debut, “Reacher” became an instant hit for Amazon Prime, becoming the first Amazon series to top the Nielsen streaming rankings. The series was soon renewed for a second season. Reacher performed well with critics and fans alike, averaging a 92% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes and an equally impressive 91% Audience Score.
Amazon Prime Video Confirms Reacher Season 2 Release Schedule
Amazon Studios has shared a press release confirming the release schedule for Reacher Season 2.
The second season will premiere on Friday, December 15, 2023. The first three episodes will be released on the premiere date. The subsequent five episodes will be released every Friday following that through January 19, 2024.

Regarding the precise timing, Prime Video usually releases episodes of its original series at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday nights. This pattern will likely be followed for Reacher Season 2, indicating that Season 2 will debut on December 14.
What will happen in Reacher Season 2?
The upcoming season is based on Bad Luck and Trouble. It is the eleventh book in the Jack Reacher series written by Lee Child.
The official description for Season 2 reads:

Reacher Season 2 will bring its first three episodes to Amazon Prime Video at 9 p.m. PST on Thursday, December 14. Before the second season premiere, Amazon Prime Video renewed Reacher for the third season.
