1.) Kun Faya Kun

This soft Sufi Qawwali requires your headphones to be on full volume and closed eyes. The surreal atmosphere of this composition is very infectious and you would definitely end up listening to it more than once. Mohit Chauhan and Javed Ali have uplifted the song very well. Ranbir’s ‘praying to God through music’ expression is the highlight of the song. Hadn’t been for Kapoor, the song’s presentation wouldn’t have been the same.

2.) Tera Hone Laga Hoon

The mesmerizing voice of Atif Aslam. the cute chemistry of Ranbir-Katrina and romantic locations – This song will cheer anyone and make u fall in love! We still feel this is the Kapoor lad’s most adorable song till date!

3.) Khuda Jaane

The start of an off-screen relationship between the then couple Ranbir-Deepika resulted in the mind-blowing chemistry seen in this song. Ranbir’s perfectly sculpted abs under the left-open crisp white shirt made every girl swoon for him. The stunning location of Venice went well with the music and chemistry. It’s been 8 years since, but we still get the feels!

4.) Matargashti

Do we really need to say anything about this song! This awesome feel-good song will make you want to live your life, laugh and dance – all at the same time! Another Ranbir-Deepika hit number, you can’t listen to it just once. Maybe a couple of hundred times (Not kidding!)

5.) Kabira

Just one word to describe this song – Brilliant! It’s the kind of song that will grow on you. Blissfully rhythmic and beautiful, it will go deep into your soul and refuse to leave it. There are many versions of this song. One is the female version sung by Rekha Bhardwaj and the other is by Arijit Singh. Pick your choice.

6.) Iktara

Superb orchestration, the husky voice of Sufi singer Kavita Seth and thoughtful lyrics make this the best song of the album. The quality of music and singing elevates this song to great heights. Composer Amit Trivedi totally slayed!

7.) Tujhe Bhula Diya

Been 6 years, but still considered the best breakup song. This song will make your heart cry it all out. The emotions of lost love are described very beautifully.

8.) Tu Hai Ki Nahi

This beautiful track is now boy’s anthem for their bike rides! Sung by maestro Arijit Singh, the lyrics are utterly devoted to the love of your life. The highlight of the song is the catchy whistling, that will leave you humming this song much after you listen to it.

9.) Bheegi Si Bhaagi Si

Another Ranbir-Mohit hit, the song is cheerfully romantic! The sweet gullible voice of Antara Mitra takes the song to another level. Definitely the song, you need to sing for your love!

10.) Jab Se Tere Naina

It will be a major crime to not mention Ranbir’s first hit song of his career! The cute 25-year old Ranbir took away girl’s heart with his towel dance and oh-so-awesome smile. Those perfectly toned abs and muscles, accentuated by the tight towel on his waist, gave many girls sleepless nights.

11.) Ae Dil Hai Mushil

While nation sang with Ranbir when this title track of Ae Dil Hai MMushkil was released last year. The best song of 2016 is still having a good place in our hear and playlist.
