As of May 30, 2021, Netflix hasn’t renewed Ragnarok for season three. Netflix usually takes a month or so to announce the renewal of another season. What Ragnarok is about and season 2 recap?
The show takes place in the fictional Norwegian town of Edda in Hordaland, Western Norway. The town is irked by climate change and the industrial pollution caused by the factories owned by the local Jutul family. A teenage boy, Magne is surprised to know that he is a reincarnation of the thunder-god Thor. Magne begins the fight against the Jutuls to save the town.
In season 2, Magne continues his battle against the Jutul family. With so many twists and turns in the narrative, season two impressed the viewers. In the end, Magne rains down some lightning and thunder on Fjor and Ran’s car but they manage to survive.
There is a lot left as far as the story for season three is concerned. Will Magne able to save the town from Jutul family? It is going to be an ultimate battle between Fjor and Magne. With so many questions still unanswered, there is a definite chance that season 3 will be announced soon.
