Three south Indian biggies, Vikrant Rona, Sita Ramam and Thallumaala have already made their OTT debuts this month. As cinephiles await the release of more movies on OTT, we have got some inside information on the OTT releases of Liger & Macherla Niyojikavargam.
Macherla Niyojikavargam OTT Release Date
Nithiin starrer Macherla Niyojikavargam was released in theatres on Aug 12, 2022. The mass action entertainer movie stars Nithiin as a district collector Siddhartha Reddy who goes against Rajappa, a local rowdy and politician.
The movie was a box office dud as it collected around Rs 16.6 Crore (Gross) in its lifetime. There has been a lot of confusion about the film’s OTT platform as there were no takers for it. However, some recent reports claim that Disney+ Hotstar has acquired digital streaming rights.

Though the movie was a box office flop, fans believe that it is a good OTT watch. Coming to the OTT release date, Nithiin and Krithi Shetty’s action entertainer might stream on Disney Plus Hotstar on the last Friday of September i.e. Sep 30, 2022.
Liger OTT Release Date
Vijay Devarakonda’s high-budget box office dud Liger is also expected to make its digital debut this month. Released on Aug 25, 2022, the sports drama helmed by Puri Jagannadh was completely rejected by the audience and critics.

It is known that Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the streaming rights of the movie. As per the reports, the movie is now gearing up for its OTT release. Liger is expected to make its OTT debut by the end of four weeks of its theatrical run. It means Liger will be out on OTT on Sep 23, 2022 (Friday). We are waiting for an official announcement.
