Laxmmi Bomb trailer and digital release date: As per reports, the makers have locked the trailer launch and release date of Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Laxmmi Bomb’.
The busiest actor of Bollywood Akshay Kumar is back to work after a lockdown break of almost four months. The actor has already started completing his pending projects. He is currently in UK, shooting for the action-thriller film ‘Bell Bottom’ which is slated for release next year. Akshay has a plan to release as many as seven movies in 2020 and 2021. His next is ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ which is all set for a digital release on Disney+ Hotstar.
Last month only, it was announced that Laxmmi Bomb will release directly on OTT. It is among the seven Bollywood films releasing directly on Disney+ Hotstar. Now some reports suggest that the trailer launch and premiere date of the film have been finalized. A source close to the actor told Bollywood Hungama that the makers of the film are planning to release the trailer on August 18.
“It is common knowledge by now that Akshay Kumar’s lucky number is 9. Incidentally, the trailer of his last year’s hits, Mission Mangal and Good Newwz, also were unveiled on 18th, July 18, and November 18 respectively.” Bollywood Hungama quoted the source as saying.
As per the report, the film will release on September 9 which also happens to be Akshay’s birthday. If the film releases on Sep 9 then it would be a big day for AkKi fans as they are eagerly waiting for Laxmmi Bomb’s release.
Laxmmi Bomb is a horror-comedy film, a Hindi remake of Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana (2011). It is directed by Raghava Lawrence, who helmed the original as well. The film also stars Kiara Advani, Tusshar Kapoor, and Sharad Kelkar.

Well, the sources were not right as the trailer wasn’t launched on 18 Aug. Now, we are waiting for an official announcement. It is almost certain that the film would release on Sep or Oct. Maybe the makers are waiting for the fate of Sadak 2 as its trailer has been thrashed on Youtube.
