Glass Onion began a one-week limited theatrical release on Nov 23, 2022, receiving the widest theatrical release ever for a Netflix film.

Also, Rian Johnson stated “several killings” in the tweet he made on Twitter during day one on set, which could signal that there will be a lot going on in Glass Onion.
In short, the sequel follows Detective Benoit Blanc, who receives a personal invitation to a private island resort prior to the murder. However, it is not the pleasant escape that it appears to be. Someone is murdered, and it is up to Detective Blanc to solve the case. The creators have stated that they plan to expand the genre using new settings, characters, and plot lines.

On September 8, 2022, Netflix released the first official trailer for Knives out 2. Our first in-depth look at the movie’s tone comes from the minute-and-a-half preview, which significantly lacks any story details. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 93% of 276 critics’ reviews are positive. This is an excellent score for a mystery movie. Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, gave the movies a score of 80 out of 100, based on 15 critics.
