The sixth episode of this season is expected to take the story forward. Titled Heat of The Moment, episode 6 synopsis reads:
“At the competition, Amy has a run in with an old friend that leads to heartache; Jack and Lisa prove they can be adventurous; Katie stands up for herself when Ellie and Brandon push her too far.”
In last week's episode, Lisa's loss touched our hearts. We can't wait to see what Episode 1706 will bring. Will Amy and Blue bring their A-game to the working cow horse competition?

Heartland season 17 episode 6 first look sees Amy running into an old friend. Now, who this “old friend” is remains a suspense. Among Nathan and Caleb, the likelihood of the latter being the “old friend” is higher since he has a long history with Amy.
