Don’t Look Up is a black comedy about two lower-grade astronomers going on a media tour to warn the world about an oncoming asteroid that will hit the earth and destroy the human race.

Before the announcement of the project, director Adam McKay discussed the project with Deadline.

“Dark satire in the school of Wag the Dog, Doctor Strangelove and Network and if it is half as good as any of them, I will be happy,” McKay told Deadline.

“Two mid-level astronomers discover a meteorite will destroy earth in six months and must go on a media tour to warn mankind,” he added.

Don’t Look Up Release Date and Time

Don’t Look Up will begin streaming on Netflix on Friday, Dec 24, 2021, at 12 a.m. PT or 3 a.m. ET. i.e. on Christmas Eve. Before Netflix, Don’t Look Up had a limited theatrical release in the United States on Dec 10, 2021.
