Breathe Into The Shadows

The second season of Amazon Prime’s psychological thriller Breathe is titled ‘Breathe Into The Shadows’. It will release on 10 July 2020.

The second season of Amazon Prime Video’s most awaited web series Breathe will release on July 10. Titled Breathe: Into The Shadows, the web series stars Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. He has replaced R Madhavan who was the main protagonist in the first season. Amit Sadh is reprising his role as senior inspector Kabir Sawant. Malayalam actor Nithya Menen has also joined the web series along with Saiyami Kher.

Sharing the first look poster of the web series, Abhishek Bachchan wrote on Instagram, “She lies into the shadows, waiting to be found. Here is the First Look of #BreatheIntoTheShadows. New Series, July 10 on @primevideoin @breatheamazon @nithyamenen @theamitsadh @saiyami @ivikramix @mayankvsharma @abundantiaent.”

The psychological thriller show is created by Abundantia Entertainment. Mayank Sharma, who helmed the first season, is directing the second season. He is also the co-writer of the show along with Bhavani Iyer, Vikram Tuli and Arshad Syed.

The first season of Breathe had R Madhavan in the lead role. It was Prime Video’s second Indian original series after Inside Edge. The show is about, ‘How far can you go to protect and save the one you love?’; it shows ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.

Talking about Breathe: Into The Shadows, Abhishek Bachchan revealed, “In Breathe, one of the things that attracted me the most to the story was the details and nuances that were built into the character I play. This is possible in the streaming medium since the time to engage with the audience is nearly four times that of a conventional feature film.”
