Now, it’s time to look specifically at the top Hindi OTT releases of the week. From the social comedy Kathal to the family drama Yeh Meri Family, there is a lot to look forward to.
Kathal

Kathal is a social comedy-drama movie written by Ashok Mishra and directed by Yashowardhan Mishra. The movie features Sanya Malhotra, Anant V Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Brijendra Kala and Neha Saraf in lead roles. The movie is about two missing jackfruits. Sanya plays the investigation officer while Rajpal Yadav essays a snoopy journalist.
Kacchey Limbu

Kacchey Limbu stars Radhika Madan, Ayush Mehra and Rajat Barmecha. The social drama movie showcases the story of two siblings who compete in the game of local cricket tournament with their respective teams.
Yeh Meri Family

Yeh Meri Family 2 marks the OTT debut of TV actress Juhi Parmar. The Hindi web series set in the 1990s era in Lucknow captures the essence of memories with radio transistors, newspaperman, TV cable, two-wheelers, and playing ludo with family etc. The story revolves around the Awasthi family and is narrated by 15-year-old Ritika (Hetal Gada) and the entire show is captured from her point of view.
Inspector Avinash

Based on true events, this crime thriller series focuses on Inspector Avinash Mishra’s (Randeep Hooda) journey as a special task force officer. Set in 1997, the series focuses on supercop Avinash Mishra of Uttar Pradesh as he marches ahead to reach the head of the weapon cartel.
Maai: Pride Of Bhojpuri

‘Maai: The Pride of Bhojpuri’ stars Nirahua and Aamrapali Dubey in the lead role. The story revolves around a rich businessman (Rajiv) whose mother meets with an accident and goes into a coma. Rajiv reaches out to the best doctors from India and abroad to cure her. Unfortunately, there is no improvement. One day a Sadhu (priest) gives Rajiv a remedy to save his mother. Rajiv has to live the life of a beggar for 45 days. Every day till 12:00 midnight, he has to beg and donate whatever he receives. Can Rajiv who has lived all his life in luxury be able to live the life of a beggar? Will he be able to give a new life to his beloved mother?
