Ajay Devgn‘s Shivaay stars Erika Kaar, Sayyessha Saigal and Vir das in lead roles. It is an emotional story of a common man who turned into destroyer to protect his family. The music album of Shivaay was recently launched at an event in Mumbai. There are five songs out of which three has been composed by Mithoon and there is one additional song, it’s reprised version by Jasleen Royal. Let’s have a detailed look at Shivaay music review.
This promotional title track is sung by ensemble singers including Mithoon, Mohit Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh, Badshah, Megha Sriram Dalton and Anugrah. The music has been given by Mithoon, the captivating lyrics have been penned by Sandeep Shrivastava. It is a trippy number and a fusion of classical and folk tunes. There could not have been a better title track than this!
2. Darkhaast
Darkhaast is all about love and passion and will surely melt your heart. The song has been soulfully crooned by Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan. Composed by Mithoon, the beautiful lyrics of the song are written by Sayeed Quadri. This soft romantic number will surely touch your heart.
3. Raatein
Jasleen Royal chips in as the composer and the singer with the third song Raatein. It is a soothing song with sweet lyrics written by Aditya Sharma. This innocent song has all the right ingredients to touch your heart.
4. Tere Naal Ishqa
Mithoon makes a comeback with the song Tere Naal Ishqa. Sung by Kailash Kher, the lyrics of this song has been penned by Sayeed Quadri. The song is a lot sadder than the earlier songs. Kailash has done what he does best and sings the song with all the right feels.
5. Raatein (Reprise)
The reprised version of Raatein is much slower than the original song. The music is bolder and goes really well with the slow pace of the song. This song will serve as a background number in the movie. Jasleen Royal has a long way to go!

Shivaay Music Review: Our Final Verdict- Ajay Devgn has chosen the best for his magnum opus. Being a short soundtrack, Mithoon has given us three amazing numbers and Jasleen Royal has done a good job too. Our pick of the lot would be Bolo Har Har Har, Darkhaast and Raatein (Reprise).
