The new show comes off the heels of their last show Keeping Up with the Kardashians which ran on E! Network for 20 seasons. What happened in The Kardashians so far?
The reality drama series follows sisters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian and their half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and their mother, Kris Jenner. It also features their current and ex-partners, including Travis Scott, Travis Barker, Kanye West, Tristan Thompson, Scott Disick And Corey Gamble.
The first season kicked off with Kim Kardashian’s very successful night as the host of Saturday Night Live, an evening where she famously kissed comedian Pete Davidson in a sketch, and then started dating him just a few weeks later. Kourtney and her now-husband Travis Barker pushed for a baby. By the final episode, Khloé discovered Tristan Thompson’s paternity scandal.
What will happen in Season 2?
The season 1 finale centred around the beginning of the Tristan Thompson paternity scandal. We will see more of this untwist in the second season, especially since Khloé and Tristan are still co-parenting their daughter, True. They had their second child in August 2022, via surrogacy.
A lot has happened since season 1 wrapped—Kourtney’s wedding, two new babies (Kylie and Khloé), and a full Kardashian-Jenner takeover of the Met Ball.
Kourtney and Travis held three wedding ceremonies over the past few months. During an appearance on the Crew Call podcast, executive producer Danielle King confirmed that the series will cover the lavish seaside affair in Italy.
It would be interesting to see if Pete Davidson makes an appearance in the second season. Kim and Pete split in August after being in a relationship for nine months. Per the season 2 trailer, Pete makes an appearance on The Kardashians, but according to Page Six, he barely appears throughout the season.
“He’s in the background, but the real world is not built for people like Pete,” a source told the outlet of Pete’s role in The Kardashians, adding that he’s “a very private person” and that Kim “was always super respectful of that.”
“He was not on the first season. I don’t know how they’re doing the second season, but he’s not a part of that world,” the source added.

The Kardashians Season 1 premiered on April 14, 2022, on Hulu. The OTT platform confirmed Season 2 just a month later. The second season premieres on Hulu on September 22, 2022.

Prior to the series premiere, Variety reported that Hulu had pre-planned launching two seasons of the series and a total of forty episodes. The first season had 10 episodes. While it is not confirmed whether we’ll be getting four 10-episode instalments or fewer seasons with more episodes, we know for sure that more content is coming. As per our understanding, we will be getting three more seasons of 10 episodes each.
