Mohit Suri‘s movie adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller novel is in the news once again. While Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are busy shooting for the movie, the latest news suggests that Rhea Chakraborty replaces Amy Jackson in Half Girlfriend.

If you can’t place Rhea Chakraborty, she is same girl who was seen in Mere Dad Ki Maruti and Sonali Cable. Initially, Amy Jackson was said to be roped in to play the role of Samantha Myers from the Bill Gates Foundation in the movie adaptation. But now it turns that Rhea Chakraborty has replaced Amy and will now be seen in Samantha’s role. Amy Jackson’s spokesperson have denied the reports that Amy is going to be a part of Half Girlfriend, so we guess Rhea is definitely a part of the movie!
Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing the role of a Bihari boy Madhav Jha while Shraddha Kapoor will play a typical high-class English speaking rich Delhi girl Riya Somani in the movie. The first schedule in Delhi has already been wrapped up and the second schedule will begin soon.
