Extraordinary Plot
In the world of “Extraordinary,” everyone gets power on their 18th birthday, except Jen. She will turn 25 this year and is still waiting for hers. Jen is stuck in a dead-end job at a party store and periodically hooks up with Luke, a flaky young man with the annoyingly cool ability to fly.
She feels like she is unable to advance. Fortunately, Jen has Carrie to prevent her from the commotion in her misery. Since they started dating in high school, they have alternated between being sisters, parents, and wingmen.
With nothing more than a great deal of desperation and a little bit of optimism, Jen sets out on her quest to discover her potential superpower. But in doing so, she might experience the joy of being just ok.

Máiréad Tyers leads the cast of the show as Jen, the only ordinary human in a world populated entirely by super-powered people. Sofia Oxenham and Bilal Hasna star as Jen’s childhood best friend Carrie, who can communicate with the dead, and her boyfriend, Kash.
