When is a Big Sky Season 4 Release Date?
Although cancellations are never easy, it appears that ABC has chosen that path. Four months after the season 3 finale aired, i.e. in May 2023, ABC canceled Big Sky and two other drama series, Alaska Daily and The Company You Keep. The decision was likely made due to decreasing viewership numbers.
Series star Katheryn Winnick was hoping for a renewal. In January 2023, she posted a couple of photos with co-star Jensen Ackles. “That’s a wrap on BIG SKY 3. Hope to see you all next year,” she wrote in the caption, indicating that she was hoping for another season.
Though ABC has canceled Big Sky, it may find a new home at A+E Studios. As of now, it’s unclear what will happen to the series. Currently, there is no release date for Big Sky Season 4 as it stands canceled.
