Chashme Baddoor stays rock steady at Indian Box office as it has collected around 3.8 crores on Monday. Chashme Baddoor, which had created a lot of buzz prior to its release, opened to a good response on Friday with first day collections of movie was around 5 crores.
Chamhme Baddoor is a remake of 1981 classic of the same name which had Farooq Shaikh, Rakesh Bedi and Deepti Naval in lead roles. David Dhawan has given a new look and feel to this classic in his own comical way and proved that is none to other when it comes to directing comedies.
The movie is going great from the very first day itself. It has raked in around 20 crores in its opening weekend which includes 5 crores on Friday, 6.5 crores on Saturday and around 8 crores on Sunday. Although the movie is weak in southern areas, it is going very strong in norther regions.
With the kind of performance it has given at multiplexes and with summer vacations going on there is every likelihood that the movie can cross 35 crores in its first week and may ends up with 45 crores lifetime collections, which is a very good number considering the fact that it is a low budget movie made with a budget of 20 crores and that too with a mediocre star cast.
Below are the Box office collections of the Chashme Baddoor:
First day collections : 5.15 crores
Second day collections : 6.30 crores
Third day collections : 7.75 crores
Monday collections : 3.80 crores.
Expected first week collections of Chashme Baddoor: 32 to 35 crores.
Expected lifetime collections of Chashme Baddoor: 40 to 42 crores.
Chashme baddoor is gonna be second comic hit of 2013 after Jolly LLB.
