So finally, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has stepped into the single figures. The good part for box office churning is that PRDP has a weekend left where it would try to grab as much gold as it can. Probably try to complete its’ 200 Crores at the Box office. The 2nd Monday blues will actually close any further hopes for PRDP to rise, and PRDP will eventually exit the stage with Tamasha knocking on the door.

As per early estimates, the movie collected around 7.37 crores on its 8th day i.e 2nd Thursday. After a glorious opening weekend of 4 days with the collection of 129 crores, the film saw a huge drop on Monday and has been sliding down since then. PRDP now stands at the total the collection of 172.37 crores. With this amount, the movie is already the 12th highest grosser of all time beating blockbusters like Bodyguard, Dabangg, and TWMR.

The movie has recovered its big budget of 115 crores and has been declared a clean hit by Box Office India. Already the 2nd highest grosser of 2015, PRDP needs to show healthy growth in its second week to emerge as a big hit that is currently looking a big task at hand.
