Anushka Sharma's Pari

Pari First Weekend Collection: Anushka Sharma’s Pari failed to post good numbers, earned around 15 crores in the first weekend.

Anushka Sharma’s third production venture Pari was released on Friday. While the promos got good response from the viewers, the movie hasn’t been well received by the audience. Despite festive season, the movie failed to post big numbers in the opening weekend. Let’s have a detailed look at the first weekend collection of Pari.

Released on Holi, the movie got off to an average opening at the domestic box office. Released on 1400 screens, the movie earned only 4.36 crores on its opening day. On Saturday, the movie witnessed decent growth and eared 5.47 crores. On the last day of the weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie failed to show any growth. In fact, it saw small drop  and earned around 5.1 crores. Thus, the total collection of the movie after first weekend stands at 15 crores.

Pari First Weekend Collection: Anushka Sharma's Film Struggled For Big NumbersThe trend over the first weekend is certainly not encouraging. The movie needs to hold well today in order to have any chance at the box office. Well, this looks almost impossible as it is against Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Luv Ranjan’s SKTKS is having a dream run at the box office. The second weekend collection of the film is higher than the first weekend collection of Pari.

Veere Ki Wedding first weekend collection

Veere Ki Wedding first weekend collectionThe other release of the week, Veere Ki Wedding had a very poor opening weekend. It earned around 3 crores. Another flop for Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda.
